Social Media Assistant

Angel the Pearl Girl Company is looking for a talented part-time social media assistant to help administer our online marketing presence. You will be responsible for creating original text and photo content, managing posts, and responding to followers, assisting with IT issues, and marketing our wide range of products.. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. As a social media assistant, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement. 

Description:

  • Develop a marketing strategy for social media

  • Develop content to increase community engagement online

  • Create a brand persona through the brand’s online channels

  • Utilize the social channels most relevant to the brand on a daily basis

  • Respond to customer queries through social networks

  • Create successful social media ad campaigns that will generate sales/leads

  • Work with relevant influencers or complementary brands to grow the company’s social following organically

Requirements:

  • Proven work and/or personal experience using social media effectively.

  • Proven experience in website building, design, and management is considered an asset 

  • Hands on experience in content management

  • Excellent copywriting skills

  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)

  • Solid knowledge of all social media platforms

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Analytical and multitasking skills 

  • Proficiency in verbal and written English and Chinese
